United States: Glasses have been prohibited since 2016. The US Department of State digital image requirements specify a square image, at least 600×600 pixels, JPEG, 240KB or smaller (the 800×800px used here sits inside that range). For a printed photo the size is 2×2 inches (51×51mm).
China: The 420×560px size is unique and cannot be substituted. Strict rules on head positioning and margins since 2017.
India: Same square shape as the US but smaller at 675×675px. Also accepted for e-Visa applications.
Cambodia: The largest visa photo at 600×900px. Also used for e-Visa applications.
